If you had the chance of spending some time in Ibiza, then you probably already danced at Ibiza Underground, with Nima Gorji behind the decks. The Iran born record selector has moved on the island 15 years ago and became an iconic landmark for the house & techno underground there. Apart from his night job as a DJ throughout Europe, Nima Gorji also runs Welt Recordings and NG Trax, where he released a few Romanian names like Triptil, Vincentiulian or Vinyl Speed Adjust.

Yet, he is still a full time record collector, so it was about time to reveal Nima Gorji’s vinyl alter ego, as he was kind enough to list a few of his dearest records.

A second hand dig I’m most proud of
Omni a.m . Keep doing that

The record I’d love to see it repressed
I think I have enough records I love, I don’t really see the point to repress.

The label I’d buy all their releases without even listening to them
I used to buy A lot of Perlon this way

The record artwork that blows my mind every time I look at it
Charles Webster , born on 24th of July

The record that triggers childhood memories
Eagles – Hotel California

The record that never leaves my DJ bag
Halo Varga & Petar Cvetkovic feat. Cess. Still Life ep

Last record I checked its price on discogs
I use only discogs to sell some of my collection. Too many records at home.

Last record I bought for my home listening pleasure
Ensemble – Padurea de aur

The record shop I would spend my whole savings in
Space Hall, Berlin

The record closest to my heart from my entire collection
Ricardo Villalobos . 808 bass Queen
