One may say that a healthy underground scene is the one fueled by the energy of a handful of people, mostly driven by their passion for music and less by the idea of making a profit from it. Well, this is what’s happenning in Oradea, a small city in the Western part of Romania. Dinsubsol, a local booking agency, promoter and record label, is actually a collective of like-minded people who are actively supporting young Romanian blood through their already famous compilations.

Sorin Moțiu aka Motiv is the Dinsubsol founder. His unique way of mixing minimal house with techno strips has brought him alongside artists like Livio & Roby, Vera, Arapu, Barac and Herodot, so we couldn’t find a better DJ to continue our De Pe La Noi series. Take a listen to his mix, created exclusively with productions crafted in Romania’s thriving electronic underground. And discover what Romania has best to offer, through Motiv’s own words, right below ;)

The spot that you can tag as iconic for Romania’s clubbing scene
I think that Club Guest House is the best club in Romania that offers a real experience of what the Romanian underground movement means. And from my hometown was Heat Club.

There are a lot of places where I’ve eaten a good dinner but my mother’s kitchen is the best and a place called Due Fratelli in Oradea (I love Italian food).

Excelent
