Exploring the vastness of the thriving Argentinian electronic undeground could be a time consuming yet fascinating journey. This is why you need an experienced guide for this mission. One can start from Music Lunar: run by Jorge Savoretti, the record label aims to bring talented producers to the surface of Argentine’s undeground. Now at its 5th iteration, Music Lunar is truly a treasure chest full of electronic gems ready to blossom into timeless grooves. Considering the amount of quality music coming from Argentine (every Music Lunar compilation contains no less than 50 tracks from various artists), there’s no better person to ask for a short list of Argentinian producers that Jorge Savoretti. So we challenged the esteemed artist to come up with a short list of producers we should keep an eye on. Here it is, in no particular order 👇
Delorean (Based in Berlin): High-quality house music, worth paying attention to this guy.
Bernat (Based in Detroit): Master of swing with exceptional sound and production quality.
Cosenza: Always in my bag—his top-notch production and stylish, dancefloor-oriented tracks are essential.
Dani Labb: One of the most interesting producers right now, with a very personal and unique sound.
Artists From Nowhere: Though there isn’t much out from them yet, expect more soon. Their dancefloor tracks are quality.
Nelzon (Based in San Diego): A classy artist with an upcoming EP on Savor that’s a real gem.
Flor Coto (Based in Berlin): One of the most talented live acts in Argentina. Worth checking out her full live set.
S.H.A.T: A class act, both his solo tracks and collaborations as Widisk on Música Lunar are some of my favorites.
Mai Iachetti: She’s delivering more and more, a great DJ and always nice hypnotic action on her tracks.
Zenniv: Master of bootlegs often played by DJs worldwide, also known for excellent original productions.
