A 25 years old East London establishment blasting grooves through a proper Funktion ONE sound system in the Main Room? Well, this sounds like the perfect environment for a night to remember in London, right? Especially with names like Richie Hawtin, Raresh or Ben UFO behind the decks. From the intimate atmosphere of the 60 clubheads capacity Gallery Bar to the terrace, courtyard and the more generously spaced Main and Live Rooms, that could be filled with more than 300 people, 93 Feet East is an iconic place not to be missed whenever you’re seeking for the dancefloor thrills you cannot find anywhere else but in London.
A few still shots don’t do justice for 93 Feet East, so we asked a few questions to get more insights behind the scenes. Jeremy, responsible for the club’s Marketing operations, was kind enough to answer them. Like usual, we like to let the music speak, so our tiny interview would have not been complete without a track selection to match the 93 Feet East special vibes.

While the rise of digital platforms has changed how music is consumed and discovered, the underground scene remains resilient.
Do you remember the first party at 93 Feet East?
The first party at 93 Feet East in 1999 was an eclectic celebration of music and art, setting the tone for what the venue would become—a hub for creativity and diverse musical expression. It featured a mix of live performances and DJ sets, with the aim of uniting different musical communities under one roof.

The ingredients that make clubheads return on a regular basis at 93 Feet East.
Consistency in delivering quality sound, an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, and a diverse lineup of both emerging and established talent are key to our appeal. The venue’s multiple spaces, including the courtyard, our Main Room, our Live Room and the Members Bar Room upstairs provide a dynamic environment that keeps our guests coming back.
Compared to 1999 when 93FE opened, how did London’s club scene change over the years? Is it better? Is it as strong and influential as it was 25 years ago?
London’s club scene has evolved significantly, facing both challenges and growth. While the rise of digital platforms has changed how music is consumed and discovered, the underground scene remains resilient. Today, the scene is arguably more inclusive and diverse, with a strong emphasis on community and sustainability. However, the closure of many venues over the years has made spaces like 93 Feet East even more essential to bring diversity to the scene.

Did social media kill the underground electronic music scene? Are people still enjoying a night on the dancefloor the same way they enjoyed it when there were no camera phones?
Social media has certainly transformed the landscape, but it hasn’t killed the scene. While there’s a balance to strike between capturing memories and being present in the moment, the core spirit of the dancefloor—unity and freedom—still thrives. Many guests appreciate our “no camera” policy in certain areas, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the experience and we want to encourage our promoters to come with more no phone policies.

I am a techno tourist in London, willing to enjoy a weekend. Besides going to 93FE for the night, what else should I include: a quick dinner before going to a party, an afterparty location/promoter, a post-party breakfast…
For a well-rounded weekend, we recommend starting with dinner at Dishoom Shoreditch for a contemporary twist on Indian cuisine. After a night at 93 Feet East, you might want to check out the afterparties at Fabric or The Cause. For a post-party breakfast, head to Cafe 1001 next door for a hearty and authentic East London café experience.
Now jump directly into the track selection that would give you just a tiny taste of what’s happenning on the 93 Feet East’s dancefloors, from old skool house cuts to current bangers:
