Being close to the Smallville Records crew, with an amazing release coming on the Down By The Lake sub-label, can mean one thing for DJ Assam: a passion for smooth, dreamy deep house. We knew that already, as we met DJ Assam on yet another house music oriented German record label, Lehult. Same chilled sunny vibes, different names :) As Assam’s productions slide seamlessly from funk accents to jazzy piano strings, we asked him to reveal some of his inspiration sources, tracked through a short record selection from his own collection.
