It’s hard, from our point of view, to make a mistake in buying any of Berlin’s Cabinet Records releases. That type of dreamy house music, bearing the same groove regardless of the artist and genre. Yet, some cuts stand out. Like NOHA’s Cables, released in 2015 on an amazing V.A. (check DJ Honesty’s track, also).
So we started to dig deeper into NOHA‘s productions on the deeper spectre of electronic music to discover a goldmine of tracks released on Nilla, Point Of View or Tokyo’s Vis Rev Set as well as Nabucco Records and PannickPannick, his personal imprints. So, pushed by our curiosity, we asked NOHA to reveal his vinyl personality into a form of record selection, as you can check below.

A second hand dig I’m most proud of
I think I paid it 3 euros or less. I simply love it.
The record I’d love to see it repressed
Always wanted to play this on wax!
The label I’d buy all their releases without even listening to them
Dial Rec without any doubt
The record artwork that blows my mind every time I look at it
Apart from being one of the most exciting works of Garbarek, the artwork itself always amazed me
The record that triggers childhood memories
It triggers GOOD childhood memories.
The record shop I would spend my whole savings in
Any record shop unfortunately
The record that never leaves my DJ bag
I could (and I actually do) play this reprise version in almost every set.
Last record I checked its price on discogs
Hiroshi Watanabe – Isolated Soul
Checked it and bought it actually :)
Last record I bought for my home listening pleasure
Can we spend a word about the cover please?
The record closest to my heart from my entire collection
Every time I see my first EP on my label I get a bit sentimental. A huge struggle to make, but worth definitely worth it.
